Power Amplification
The @udio
Logistics PERMA range of amplifiers use high efficiency PSCPWM class D
amplification, to realise amplifier powers of 2 by 200W and 2 by 100W at
100V line. The use of class D techniques reduces battery requirements
and the heat generated within the rack. The amplifiers will produce full
rated power with batteries down to 22V at which point they shut down to
prevent battery deep discharge. The amplifiers contain their own 3A SLA
battery charger which is fully monitored
for AC, DC and fuse faults. Included in the amplifiers are a two input
matrix per channel, as well as complete load monitoring for open
circuit, short circuit and earth leakage. Our monitoring uses either a
22KHz pilot tone at 1Vrms on the 100V line which is detected by our 2
wire end of line device Or a DC end of line resistor. This combined
system can accurately detect faults on both the line and the speakers
giving the most accurate system status, which can be retrofitted to
nearly all sites. |
