The ET150 is the smallest of the easy T professional range of induction loop amplifiers. The unit will cover a square room 12m by 12m or a rectangular room 20m by 10m. The unit has three inputs all of which can be microphones, or input 3 can be switched to line level for mixing desk or AV feeds. Selectable Phantom power is available for the microphone inputs. ET150 Uses

The ET150 is designed to cover areas up to 200m2 and be connected to professional microphones and line sources.

ET 150 Front View

All the controls on the ET150 are screwdriver adjustable to prevent tampering. Each input has its' own mix control, before passing to a compressor limiter. The compression level (gain reduction) is indicated on a 4 LED bar graph (0 to 18 dB) allowing the user to select the best dynamic range for the application. The drive control sets the output peak current which is indicated on the 5 LED current bar graph (1A to 5A). The unit indicates Power, Loop OK and output stage protect status on the front Panel. The Loop OK Lamp only illuminates when audio is passing through the loop giving a true indication that the loop is functioning.

ET Series Rear View

The three audio inputs on the ET150 are on standard XLR Connections (in accordance with AES3). Inputs 1 & 2 are microphone level and input 3 is selectable between mic and line level using the blue push switch on the rear. Phantom is enabled to all microphone inputs using the red push switch on the rear.

The loop OK output is a 12V feed to drive the ETOK indicator when the loop is operating (this indicator ensures people know the loop has programme material before switching to the T position).

The direct loop monitor allows a pair of standard headphone to be used to listen to the current flowing in the loop (This has been requested by installers to prove the audio from the loop is free of Hum in areas of high background electrical noise).

The loop connections allows up to 2.5mm csa cable to be connected to the amplifier (we recommend using ferrules on the cable ends) to form the loop.

Mains is provided by a standard IEC type inlet, and the unit is provided with an MK type plug for the UK or an earthed Shuko type plug for Europe.
